LEGO Halloween 2026: Pumpkin, Lantern and Skull Candle Sets Revealed

LEGO has unveiled its Halloween 2026 lineup, and this year the theme goes small and spooky rather than big and elaborate. Three new sets landed together at LEGO.com: a jack-o'-lantern with a genuine light-up trick, a skull candle with a poison-bottle backstory, and a companion decorative lantern.

All three are compact decor builds rather than play sets, priced well under €30 each, and built to sit on a shelf or in a window through the scary season.

Halloween Pumpkin Lantern (40872)

The set's centerpiece is a real light-up function: a light brick built into the stem that illuminates the pumpkin's carved face when pressed. A glow-in-the-dark ghost minifigure attaches above the pumpkin so it looks like it's floating, and a small spider adds another creepy detail. Colorful Lantern (40873)

Where the other two sets lean into classic Halloween imagery, this one is a more general festive decoration, described by LEGO as symbolizing hope and welcome. It's finished in green, magenta, orange and yellow with hanging tassels that sway when the model moves, and hangs from a built-in ring element rather than sitting on a shelf. Halloween Skull Candle (40883)

The skull features a gold tooth and two swappable pairs of eyes, one plain green and one glow-in-the-dark, so builders can switch its expression from resting to reviving. Taken together, the three sets cover a €19.99–€29.99 spread and split into two ideas: the Pumpkin Lantern and Skull Candle are built specifically for Halloween, each with a glow-in-the-dark trick worked into the design, while the Colorful Lantern is a more general festive hanging decoration that happens to launch alongside them.
